Vietnam overtakes Thailand to become world’s second-largest rice exporter
In first seven months of 2025, Vietnam exported 5.5 million tonnes of rice, generating $2.81 billion – a 3.1% increase in volume but 15.9% decline in value compared to same period 2024.
